We had no intention of sharing our story.....
No master plan on how to create the perfect site and how to monetize our experience. It's only after a year that we started to collect our experiences and create this site. So there will be typos and grammatical errors strewn throughout these rambling pages. The site design won't be the best and will most certainly be passed over by countless people who are going to hike the John Muir Trail.
We are a young(ish) family... And we never came across a site that had all the information that we wanted, and more importantly a site that reassured us that we weren't crazy in embarking on the experience of a lifetime. And make no bones about it, the John Muir Trail is a once in a lifetime deal for most of the people that attempt it.
Why do we say attempt and not complete ?
We never completed it... Dad pulled the plug 3 days from Whitney on the penultimate pass.
